As I am writing this post I have survived a full day with 2 hours sleep from the night before. I really think coffee seems appropriate right now. Having a sick little one is no fun and I truly don’t know what I would do without faith and that warm dark roasted smell of freshly ground coffee beans.
Coffee beans are high in antioxidants! Antioxidants are responsible for fighting off premature ageing caused by the sun, pollution and free radicals. According to studies coffee can be used to stop headaches, boost athletic performance, reduce your cavities. Coffee has amazing disease-fighting properties reducing the risk of many harmful diseases such as type 2 diabetes, cancer of the colon and liver, gallstones, Parkinson’s disease and cirrhosis of the liver.
Coffee also contains caffeine which is well known for increasing your metabolic rate. This could lead to a few extra burned calories!
